Various methodologies were adopted in order to engage with as many residents as possible. In November 2003, a series of Focus Groups were held across the Borough. (Please see record 203). The next phase of consultation adopted, free newspaper adverts, leaflet, Scrutiny Committee, online survey, telephone hotline and a representative telephone survey. The aim was to explore your views not just for the short term, but to get an idea about how you feel we should be targeting our spending in the future.
As a result of this consultation, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council's Council Tax is lower than average. It is the lowest in Kent. An article also appears in the Borough News, March 2004. |
