Outcome: Exhibition and Consultation took place 20/21 November 2004. Responses to possible options for the Conservation Area improvements are being analysed. Top four priorities have been made and further consultations are taking place with Town Council, Borough Councillors and Traders. The four options being considered are: (1) Enhancement of the parade frontage including trees, seats, planters and new pedestrian guard-rail. (2) Build-out of footway on the northern side of Pennington Road junction. (3) Landscape action plan and priority actions arising from them. (4) Clearance of paths and bridleways. We have started to implement the above schemes/proposals.
